Republicans move to increase House bu...

That’s the only thing I can figure … unless of course …. Remember back when Ronald Reagan had Jimmy Carter’s solar panels stripped off the White House? Well, House Republicans are at it now. They’re reversing Nancy Pelosi “Green the Capitol” campaign. Never mind that the plan reduced energy consumption by 23 percent and water consumption by 32 percent. It seems that staffers in the House cafeteria whined about the compostable utensils and such, so the Styrofoam cup has returned. It won’t be long now. We know they just can’t stand those compact fluorescent light bulbs that take five seconds to get to full power. Not filling up landfills and saving money really isn’t in the GOP plan. But then … I believe Styrofoam is a petroleum product.
